Random Brazil fact of the day

When Brazilians alphabetize names, they do it by first names. This may be because they have so many total names and unlike Spanish you donĀ“t know just by looking which is the "last" name. Even within families people use different names. For example, each of my professorĀ“s daughters uses a different one of their last names as the primary last name.
